The Corbin Theatre of Liberty, Missouri is holding auditions for the murder mystery, RAVENSCROFT by Don Nigro. Auditions are walk-in, cold readings, but monologues will be heard by the director if you are more comfortable. There are roles for 6 actors, 5W 1M. Every role is a great character to play and have fun with. No accents needed. All ethnicities encouraged to audition.

Rehearsals will be evenings and weekends, no more than four times a week until tech. Performances are May 10-12, 17-19.

Ruffing-Male, 30-40’s a brilliant, yet troubled detective, gets increasingly drunk, star role, never leaves the stage, so must have good rehearsal availability
Marcy-Female, 20-30’s Governess, smart, stands up for herself, but she’s knows she’s vulnerable
Mrs. Ravenscroft- Female, 30’s-50’s plays ditzy to hide a crafty mind, controlling, concerned with propriety
Gillian-Female, 17 Ravenscroft daughter, precocious, swings from childish to very adult, demanding, knows too much
Dolly-Female 20’s, Maid, frequently anxious and sick, not very bright
Mrs. French-Female 30-50’s Housekeeper, bossy, by-the-book
