SHOW ME PERCUSSION
Jeff Seba graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Music Education degree.  While at UMKC, he was a performing member of the Conservatory Wind Ensemble, Conservatory Wind symphony, and the Conservatory Orchestra, as well as the UMKC Percussion Ensemble and the UMKC Jazz Combos. Jeff has studied with a variety of teachers throughout his career, including Dr. Jim Snell, Dr. Nick Petrella, Al Sergel III, Michael Warren, and Doug Auwarter.  He is currently the elementary music teacher at Ridgeview Elementary and the front ensemble instructor for Liberty High School.  He also performs with the Joel Gordon Trio, and the Fountain City Brass Band.  Last year, Jeffwon the solo competition at the North American Brass Band Championships.
Anna Kinkade is from Shawnee, Kansas.  As an undergraduate at Benedictine college, she performed in both the Drum corps and Wind Ensemble.  She majored in Spanish and Sociology.  Anna teaches Spanish at St. James Academy in Lenexa, KS, in addition to serving as the school’s percussioninstructor, and  assistant director of bands.  She is also Chair of the Fine and Performing Arts.  Anna has worked as a clinician throughout Johnson County for several high schools.  She is a percussion tutor for the Fountain City Youth Brass Academy, as well as a member of the Fountain City Brass Band.

 

Originally from Carrollton, Georgia, Jennifer Wagner completed her Doctorate of Musical Arts at UMKC in Percussion Performance, as well as completing aMasters degree in both Percussion Performance and Musicology.  Prior to her move to Kansas City, she earned her Bachelor’s in Percussion Performance from Columbus State University.  During her professional career, she has been a performing member in ensembles all over the country, including the Kansas City Symphony, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Seattle Minimalist Ensemble, Proenca Band, and the Fountain City Brass Band.  She has performed as a soloist with various ensembles, and has published in “The 100 Greatest Bands of All Time.”
