Jewell Street will bring to the stage a collection of familiar and some not so familiar Christmas songs in styles from Swing to Rock, from Country to Jazz, and even Traditional. And fun songs along the way. Last year it was Not the Twelve Days of Christmas. What will this year bring?
Jewell Street is several friends who not only enjoy each other’s company but have fun playing music together. They have appeared frequently at Corbin with their Christmas fund raiser for Corbin, as well as Make Music Liberty, Art on the Side, Liberty Summer Festival, and the Susan B. Anthony sculpture dedication. They also perform individually in other local music groups including The Spirit of Independence Concert Band, The Overtones of Kansas City, and their churches.
