Terri Laddusaw and Michael Paull are Sissy & Earl. An Americana Country Folk Duo from Lawrence and Overland Park, Kansas. Terri and Michael bring solid, sibling like harmonies and musicianship to their homegrown and authentic original songs and thoughtfully chosen cover tunes.
Terri and Michael met while performing in a holiday fundraiser for the Americana Music Academy in Lawrence, KS. They both started showing up at the weekly jams that were sponsored by the Americana Music Academy and there they discovered that their voices blended beautifully together and Sissy & Earl was born. They are two time State Champions of the Ensemble Folk Singing Contest at the annual Kansas State Fiddling and Picking Championships. They have been recognized for their wide listener appeal and memorable heart felt performances. They were also recruited and featured on Prairie Glimpses: The Kansas Song Project where they performed with the Topeka Symphony and at the University of Kansas.
Sissy & Earl released their debut CD Cattail Holler in December, 2018. They perform regularly either as a duo or with full band that includes Mike Lawrence on drums/percussion and James Rose on bass; at venues all around the Kansas City Metro and surrounding area.
