Eryn M. Bates
Eryn is a pianist, vocalist, composer and organist living and working in Liberty, MO. She regularly performs throughout the Kansas City area with theaters, choral groups and instrumental ensembles alongside her work as the Director of Development with the Harriman-Jewell Series at William Jewell College. Some of her KC credits include: CAROUSEL, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, A CHRISTMAS CAROL and CABARET at the Kansas City Repertory Theatre(associate music director); THE BALLAD OF LEFTY AND CRABBE and TITUS at The Living Room Theatre (pianist/music director). She has also studied in Oxford, UK at Oxford University, performing at Blenheim Palace and IOLANTHE, THE MIKADO, and THE YEOMAN OF THE GUARD with the Oxbridge Opera Company (vocalist/répétiteur/music director). Eryn graduated with a B.A. in Music as part of the Oxbridge Honors Program at William Jewell College and has an M.B.A from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
James is a vocalist, director, and teacher originally from Prairie Village, KS. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from The University of Kansas and teaches Middle School Vocal Music in the Blue Valley School District. Outside of the classroom he is theFounder/Music Director of the non-profit organization Kansas City A Cappellawhich provides a contemporary vocal a cappella ensemble for high school students around the KC Metropolitan, he serves as the Director of Music at John Knox Presbyterian Church, and is the Musical Director for various theatre companies including Shawnee Mission Theatre In The Park, The Barn Players Community Theatre, Olathe Civic Theatre, The Jewish Community Center, The Culture House, and Blue ValleyNorth High School.
